She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobie Carver, Sr. and Addie Mae Wilkins Carver; her husband Harold Pasco Grinstead; her grandson Elliott Lowery Phillips; and her siblings, Dolian Carver, Dennis Carver, Carlton Carver, Hobie Carver, Jr. and Grinstead.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Sexton (Steve) of Rougemont, Tina Hamric (Marc) of Atlantic Beach and Jennifer Phillips (Chris) of Rougemont; her siblings, Nell Carver Walker (Whitt) of Hillsborough, Marshall Carver of Roxboro and Clarence Carver (Frances) of Roxboro; her grandchildren, Hannah Gray Sexton, Matthew Sexton, Carson Taylor (John), Ethan Phillips (Dakota), Preston Phillips (Grace), Grant Phillips and Kayla Walker; her great grandchild Merritt Gray Taylor; and her caregiver Barbara Harris of Rougemont.
