He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Hooper and Ola Hooper; his sister JoMeta Thomas; his wife Sue Davis Hooper; his children, Corvin Hooper, Leslie Hooper (Colbie), Jessie Hooper and Kim Smith (Bobby, Jennifer Kimsey); his siblings, Bascom Hooper (Jean), Kevin Hooper (Diane), Louetta Hubbard (Sherrill) and Paulette Gasperson (Larry); his daughter-in-law Nancy Hooper; and his brother-in-law Charles Thomas. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
