It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Coy Whitmire (Rosman, North Carolina), who passed away on April 29, 2018, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparent Joretta Whitmire. He is survived by: his parents, Brian K. Whitmire of Rosman and Sabrina Thomas Rankin (Kevin) of Summerville, SC; his grandparents, Ricky Wilson, Rosietta Wilson, Rebecca Shelton, Waybern Shelton, William Thomas (Mary), Brenda Summers and Lois Zeigler; and his brothers, Randall Whitmire and Zakk Rankin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
