He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ernest and Marry Ann Keith McJunkin; his wife Flora Jean Powell McJunkin; his son William "Scott" McJunkin; and his siblings, Bert, Claude, Edwin, Fulton, Paul Vernon, Weldon, Faye, Gladys and Louise.

He is survived by: his son Daniel McJunkin; and his sister Betty Ross.
