It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Alonzo Petit of Rosman, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Petit and Ida Petit of Rosman; and his siblings, Charles Petit, Leo Petit, Frank Petit, Reba Powell and Polly Galloway.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Petit of Rosman; his sister Bonnie Aiken of Rosman; his sons, Michael Petit (Pam) of Rosman and Tim Petit (Sylvia) of Rosman; his grandchildren, Erica Petit Shelton (Jason) of Lake Toxaway, Cody Petit of Rosman and Tyler Petit of Rosman; and his great grandchildren, Alyvia, Ansley and Adalyn Shelton of Lake Toxaway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Zion Baptist Church of Rosman or Four Seasons Hospice Care of Hendersonville.
