She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Arrington and Essie East Arrington Martin; her husband Alan Wayne Bowen; and her siblings-in-law, Tish Arrington, Tom Edwards and Jim Edmiston.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cooke and Joe; her daughter-in-law Kat Cooke; her grandchildren, Tonya Goldsberry, Morgan Harris (Trey), Jacob Cooke (Allison) and Seth Cooke (Naomi); her great grandchildren, Brooks Knight, Ellie Goldsberry Rogers, Harlan Harris, Genevieve Cooke, Nolan Cooke and Carter Goldsberry Rogers; her siblings, Ethelene Edwards, Barbara Edmiston, Harvey (Jean Arrington), Jack Arrington and Dennis (Lynn Arrington); her stepsiblings, Ruth Williams, Patricia Vestal, Judy Stevens and Mitchell Arrington; and her close friend Bobby Thomas.
