He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Obera Casey Bennett; his wife Virginia Galloway Bennett; and his sister Ovalee Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Duane Bennett and David Bennett (Amy); his grandsons, Aaron and Aiden Bennett; and his sister Sandra Bennett.
