It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Fay Handon of Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Peterson and Clara Peterson; her son Roger Handon; and her siblings, Larry, Dwight, Chester, Gene, Diane, Leon, Jerry and Dwanda.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Handon; her daughter Tralia Faircloth (Johnnie); her grandchildren, Jamal McBryde, Trinell McBryde, Raquez Handon, Jadlyn Faircloth and Alyssa Faircloth; and her brother Mickey Peterson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
