He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gabbard and Anna Roberta Gabbard. He is survived by: his wife Helen H. Gabbard; his children, Laura Gabbard and Eric Gabbard; his stepchildren, Jason Ezzell (Kristie), Leigh Ann Davis and Brandy Williams (William); and his sisters, Shirley Ann Day and Rose Ringeisen. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
