He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Walton and Mary Hall Walton; his son Robert E. Walton; and his brother Robert Walton. He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Walton of Autryville and Renee Brock of Clinton; his sisters, Dorothy Smith of Roseboro, Frances Walton of Autryville and Brenda Calix of Dunn; his significant other Renee Hardison; his nephews, Charlie Tanner Jr. of Dunn and Marcus Walton of Autryville; and his stepdaughters, Alisha Miller of Warsaw and Victoria Miller of Roseboro. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
