She is survived by: her husband Marvin Benton; her daughter Vickie Dabbs (Bobby); her granddaughter Ginger Melvin (Chad); her great grandchildren, David, Daniel and Jordan; and her siblings, Marie Lucas, Francis Williams, George Jr., Leroy Carter and Wilbert Carter.
