It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Selby Carson Spell of Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Spell and Iula Hall Spell; and his siblings, Alma Honeycutt Autry, Blanche McLamb, Avis Jean and Earl Delano Spell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Thompson of Fayetteville, Patsy Markham of Fayetteville, Genevieve Humbert of Hardeeville, SC, Kathy Baker of Dunn and Woody Spell of Roseboro; his nieces, Phoebe Honeycutt West and Sondra McLamb Tew; and his close friends, Jeanette Royal, Woody, Beth McLamb, Bill, Debbie Sessoms, Barbara, Jim Summitt and Jerry McLamb. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
