Samuel Kitchin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021, at the age of 71, Samuel Kitchin of Roseboro, North Carolina, born in Asheboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Walton and Nancy Brewer Kitchin of Clinton. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Kitchin McElhinney (Lance) of Denver, Anna Clark Kitchin of Elizabeth City and Catherine Eugenia Kitchin of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Colin Reed McElhinney, Robert Kitchin "Kitch" McElhinney and Amelia Ann McElhinney of Denver; and his brothers, William Walton Kitchin Jr. (Anne) of Greenville and Clark Kitchin Larson (Randy) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, The Family have established a scholarship, for a deserving Midway Senior, in his name.
