She is survived by: her daughter Della Mervin of Cary; her grandchildren, Cree Newkirk of Roseboro, Aaron Mervin of Jacksonville, Travis Mervin of Cary and Jamison Mervin of Cary; and her siblings, William H. Newkirk (Anita) of Mebane, Mary Mott (Cindy) of Clinton, Jane Ross (Bobby), Rosemary Jordan of Charlotte and Marthel Parker of Winston-Salem.
