He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hunter and Nancy Chesnutt Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Hunter; his son Dr. Robert L. Hunter, Jr. (Denise) of Roseboro; his grandchildren, Brittany Royster (Steven) and Robert Louis Hunter, III (Maeghan); his great grandchildren, Lainey Royster, Levi Royster, Ava Grace Hunter and Brenlee Cate Hunter; his grandson Jared Garbett (Kelli); and his great grandchildren, Keaton and Campbell.
