He was predeceased by: his parents, Vander Granval and Lacy Faircloth Brock; his wife Lula Mae Simpson Brock; and his brothers, Elmer Brock, Jimmy Brock and Carl Brock.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Brock (Faith) of Roseboro, Debbie Fuldner (Tom) of Raleigh, Muriel Hall (Bobby) of Autryville and Gary Brock (Eva) of Roseboro; and his sister Virginia Watson of Roseboro. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
