It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Canady of Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rachel Canady to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leondas Frank Canady and Gracy Pearl Jackson Canady; her daughters, Lisa Britt and Angie Britt; and her sister Shirley Parker.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Blalock; her children, Rachel Michelle Britt of St. Pauls, Tracy Britt of St. Pauls and Johnnie Britt of St. Pauls; her siblings, Dee Mccray of Lumberton, Vada Smith of Lumberton, Sonny Jackson of Pennsylvania, Woodrow Canady of Lumberton and Paul Canady of St. Pauls; and her close friend Mary Sue Walters of Lumberton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
