She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley Moore and Ethel Broome Sandy; and her daughter Fran Geddie. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Averett, Lloyd Hobbs and Jimmy Hobbs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angel House Hospice Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
