He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Janice Gretzinger Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Carmen H. Jenkins; his children, Mark Jenkins II (Heather) of Roseboro and Alison Frazier (Jake) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Luna Frazier and Marleigh Jenkins; and his brothers, Fred Jenkins (Melody) of Mebane, Jim Jenkins (Deanna) of Wilmington and John Jenkins.
