He is survived by: his wife Judy Bass; his daughter Peggy Merritt (James) of Newton Grove; his sister Lucille Parker of Florida; and his grandchildren, Johnna Bass, Angelita McAlister, Jameson McAlister, Jaylen McAlister, Angel Gomez, Brittany Weuster and Serena Parsons.
