She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Weeks and Alice Lee Weeks; and her siblings, Shelton Weeks and Nina Ruth Best. She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Herring; her sons, Derrick Herring (Angie) of Turkey, Erick Herring (Kim) of Salemburg and Chris Herring (LeAnn) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Quinn Tart, Meredith Herring, Morgan Herring, Ethan Herring, Edie Herring, Cole Rector, Cody Rector, Cayden Herring, Brianna Wheeler and Leah Wheeler; and her great grandchildren, Jonah Tart, Ronan Tart, Austin Neal, Braxtyn Crumley and Jonah Belle Crumley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, P.O. Box 338, Salemburg, NC 28385; or to one's favorite charity.
