He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphas Callahan and Vara Callahan; and his brothers, John W. Callahan and James Fulton Callahan. He is survived by: his siblings, Dessie Starling of Godwin, Judy Upton (Virgil) of Surf City, Bruce "Red" Callahan (Pam) of Erwin, Jerry Callahan (Dianne) of Dunn and William Callahan (Ginny) of Newton Grove.
