She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Atkinson and Thelma Atkinson; her siblings, Wilhelmena Andrews, Jessica Farrell and Jimmie Atkinson, Jr.; and her sons, Roosevelt and Wright, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Roosevelt "Vell"; her daughters, Anitra Williams (David) of Durham, NC and Regina Williams of Columbia, SC; her sister Inez Thomas of Bronx, NY; her grandchildren, Corey West of Roseboro, NC, Kristle Williams (Monarch) of Greensboro, NC and Ashley Williams of High Point, NC; and her great grandchildren, Kaleah, Bryson, Addison and Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
