She was predeceased by: her parents, Derwood Coleman Spell and Elzora Jackson Spell of Salemburg; her husband Thomas Avery McLamb; her children, Philip Thomas McLamb and Cynthia McLamb Warren; and her great grandchild Hollyn Rae Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Suzette McLamb Richardson (Tom) and James "Jim" Coleman McLamb; her grandchildren, Peter Lawrence Joseph, Jessica Lauren Joseph, Meredith Warren Stewart (Mark), Kathryn Warren Saylors (Rhett) and Morgan Rae McLamb; and her brothers, Jimmie Spell (Jennie) of Kenneth and Wayne Spell (Cynthia).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the name of Jackie Spell McLamb to Mt. Elam Baptist Church, 2111 Mt. Elam Church Road, Roseboro, North Carolina 28382.
