He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Claude and Lemmie Emory Jones; his wife Lucy Smith Jones; and his brother Billy Jones. He is survived by: his children, Craig Jones (Debbie) of Huddleston, VA, Bobby Jones (Peggy) of Hope Mills and Sherry Coulter of Durham; his brother Vernon Jones, Jr. (Shirley) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Amanda Coulter and Ashley Dellis; his nephew John Jones (Emma); and his daughter Kiley of Clinton. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
