It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Lee Pope (Roseboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James F. Pope; his wife Rebecca June Pope; his nephew Darren Johnson; and his niece Kelly Strickland. He is survived by: his children, Bobby, Christopher, Michael Pope and Kenneth; his mother Gladys Rich Pope; and his siblings, Frank Pope (Carolyn), Jimmy Pope (Barbara), Joe Pope (Lilly), Nancy Starling (Richard) and Kay Willoughby (David). He is also survived by one grandson and three granddaughters.
