He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Otto and Clara Bell Sessoms Capps. He is survived by: his sons, David Capps (Julie) of Wilmington and Ryan Capps (Beatriz) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Cooper Capps and Arianna De La Cruz; the mother of his children Phyllis Spell Capps; and his pet Otis.
