With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cody Scott Melvin of Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2022 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Autry Bullard Melvin; and his grandparents, Donald Ray Autry, James, D. Jr., Daniel Melvin, II and Vervie Rebecca Edgell.

He is survived by: his father James "Jim" Daniel Melvin, III (Eleanor Blake); his son Jackson Melvin; his siblings, Daniel Melvin (Christy) and April Melvin Elliott; and his grandmothers, Judy Bullard Shore and Jane Melvin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
