Virginia Baumgardner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Baumgardner in Rose Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas A. Turley; her siblings, Turley, Jr., Dorothy James, Nancy Beydler, Ann Crawford and Billy Turley; and her husband Gene Kegley Baumgardner.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Kegley Baumgardner, Jr. (Sherry) of Wytheville, VA and Nancy Baumgardner Wheeler (Wayne) of Nebo, NC; and her grandson Justin Tyler McKinney (Shannon) of Jonesboro, TN.. She is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
