He was predeceased by: his father Percy Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anders Peterson; his mother Barbara A. Peterson of Rose Hill; his close friend Sallie Smith of Warsaw; his siblings, Gail Peterson of Clinton, Denise Peterson of Rose Hill and Jerry Peterson (Percy Peterson) of Hope Mills; his nieces, Jasmine Peterson of Raleigh and Carla Faison of Clinton; his uncles, Perry Peterson (Thira) of Clinton and Jessie Lee Wright (Helen) of Clinton; and his aunt Marie Bennett of Bloomfield, CT. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
