He is survived by: his daughters, Ivy Susan Wells of Rose Hill and Karen Lynn Wells of Rose Hill; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Taylor Thornton, Sloan Alexander Fields and Kyle Zachary Fields; his brother David Harding Wells, Jr. (Ellen) of Wilmington; and his sister-in-law Peggy Wells of Wallace.
