He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Brenda Batts Hines of Wallace and Garland Hines, Sr.; his wife Beverly Lanier Hines; his children, Christopher Shane Hines (Charlie Beth), Justin Hines, Hannah Hines Lanier (Ladarrius) and Kylee Raynor; his grandchildren, Delaney Raynor, Addison Hines, Charlotte Hines, Camden Hines, Walker Hines, Jayden Hines, Jaxon Lanier, Jordyn Lanier, Jakob Lanier, Jeslie Lanier and Jenley Lanier; his sisters, Donna Benton (Tony), Susan Savage (Jamie), Marcie Hines and Sheila Hines; and his pet Winnie. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Church (181 Wallace Hwy, Harrells, NC 28444). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
