She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Barnhill and Beatie Wilson Barnhill; her grandson Andrew Dixon Murray; and her siblings, Emma Joyce Colvin, Lucille Spencer, LeRoy Barnhill, Helen Ragsdale, Robert Barnhill and Elbert Ray Barnhill.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Dixon; her daughters, Wanda Darden (Anthony) of Rose Hill and Wendy Murray (Frank) of Rose Hill; her granddaughters, MaryKate King (Garrick) of Sanford and Ginny Hope (Nelson) of Rose Hill; her great grandchildren, JimiPaige Hope and Remington Hope; her siblings, Ann Holt of Rocky Point, Ida Mae Keith of Wilmington, Geraldine Swarts-Smith of Wilmington, Elgin Barnhill (Nell) of Chinquapin and Johnny Barnhill of Rocky Point; and her friend Gail. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
