It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Smith in Rose Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orley Smith and Effie Smith; and his wife Betty Jean Cope Smith. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Smith (Tammy) of Shelby, Michael Smith of Casar, Kathy Smith (Marvin), Maggie Smith of Shelby, Cheri Smith of Shelby and Riki Richards (Jeremy) of Maiden; and his sister Pamela Frye (John) of Waco. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
