He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Williams McArthur and Annie Ruth Kenan McArthur; his wife JoAnn McArthur; his daughter Jacqueline McArthur; and his siblings, Johnny McArthur, Helen Flowers, Dorothy Carroll and Gracie Jordan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Annie Lois Carr, Joyce Smith and James McArthur (Stephanie); and his aunt Earlene Jordan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and close personal friends.
