She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Cavenaugh and Florence Cavenaugh; her husband Roy Gilbert; her son Dean Gilbert; her grandson Shane Cavenaugh; and her siblings, Aubrey Cavenaugh, Vergie Profitt and John David Cavenaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Wheeler of Rose Hill, Mary Lou Cavenaugh (Butch) of Wallace, Roy Alan Gilbert of Rose Hill and William Earl Gilbert of Ashville; her grandchildren, Brandy Gilbert, Sarah Smith, Andrew Smith, Anthony Smith and William Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Payton Cavenaugh, Gabriel Smith, Dominic Smith, Christian Smith, Andi Smith, Aron Smith and Jonathan Gilbert; her great great grandchild Magnolia Jean "Sissy" Cavenaugh; her siblings, Annie Pearl Bray of Wallace, Ray Cavenaugh (Mary Lou) of Wallace and Aaron Cavenaugh (Jeannie) of Wallace; and her friend Bertie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
