She is survived by: her children, Edna Murphy (William), Linda Faye Graham, Shirley Newton Stringfield, Alvin Newton (Mary), Calvin Newton, Sr. (Michelle) and Michael Anthony Newton; her grandson Kim Newton; her daughter-in-law Linda Highsmith Newton; and her caregiver Aleshia McMillian.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Roseville Missionary Baptist Church (2870 Wilmington Hwy, Willard, NC 28478). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
