It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Cecilia Sparrock of Rose Hill, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nixon and Della Nixon; her husband Arnold Sparrock, Sr.; and her brother James Nixon, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Arnold Sparrock, Jr. of Rose Hill, NC, Kevin Sparrock (Ajaya Lunett) of Pembroke Pines, FL and Crystal Cecilia Jones (Xavier) of Stafford, VA.; her grandson Christopher Xavier Jones; her children, Elijah Xavier Jones, Asha Pearl Sparrock, Kamau Nagila Sparrock, Simone Grace Sparrock and Nandi Imani Janay Sparrock; and her sisters, Gloria and Teresa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
