He was predeceased by: his parents, Worth Tew and Beatrice Stephenson Dobbs; his wife Ann Hobby Marrow Tew; his children, Susan Barnes, Michael Tew and Brian Tew; and his sister Peggy Johnson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Kaye Dixon (Robert) of Selma, NC and Joy Cox (Rick) of Angier, NC; and his parents-in-law, Marya Shavender (Buddy) of Pantego, NC, Cecilia Marrow Whichard (Bobby) of Chocowinity, NC, Virginia Marrow Coats (Ken) of Emerald Isle, NC and Mack Wesley Marrow (Glenda) of Roper, NC.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
