It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlon Dexter White of Roper, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Pearl Mizelle and Edward Sutton White. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Taylor; his daughters, Deborah W Duncan (Herman) of Seaboard, NC and Lori W Thomas (Mike) of Rocky Mount, NC; and his brother-in-law Sidney Gene Copeland of Windsor. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
