She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leonard Yow and Jeanette Hinson. She is survived by: her husband Happy Ambrose; her children, Charles Weathersbee (Micah), Brian Weathersbee (Jenna), Caleb Ambrose, Michael Weathersbee and Sierra Ambrose; her grandchildren, Gracie, Clara, Julie, Brileigh, Joseph, Emily and Ian; her sisters, Illa Cartrette and Sharon Jacobs; and her close friend Patricia Hinson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
