He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maude Grace Davenport of Roper, N. C.; his sons, Fred B. Davenport, Jr. of Wilmington, N. C., Donald A. Davenport of Roper, N. C. and Jerry E. Davenport (Hannah) of Roper, N. C.; his daughter-in-law Celia Davenport; his grandchildren, Carlie Davis, Michael Davenport, Hunter Davenport and Evan Davenport; and his great grandchild Magnolia Davis.
