He was predeceased by: his parents, Ursey Morris Luton and Georgianna Cartwright; his former wife Mary Glenn McPherson Luton; his wife Lora Lee Furlough Luton; his siblings, Lessie, Mildred, Mary-Ann, Delia, Evelyn, Fuga Lee, Rubelle, Janet, Gloria and Cecil; his daughter Anna Luton of Roper, NC; and his stepchildren, Willie Leroy "Buddy" Furlough (Sylvia), Vanessa White (Louis), Valerie West (Rick) and Vicki Riley (Marty).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Matthew Luton and Kellie Luton Binnicker (Tyler); and his stepgrandchildren, Paige Keselowski, Tyler White, Kellen Furlough, Kaitlyn Furlough and Harley West Roscoe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and precious family friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles' memory to Zion's Chapel Church of Christ or Plymouth Church of Christ.
