She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Armstrong Spruill and Mattie Pierce Spruill; her husbands, Ernest Ayers and Johnny Clifton; and her brothers, J. D., Tommy Ray and Chester.
She is survived by: her children, Glory Ann White (Andy) of Belvidere and Wayne Spivey (Lauri) of Manteo; her sisters, Gloria Tunstall of Roper and Alice Lewis of Windsor; her grandchildren, Kristy Melton, Ashley Bradley, Cody White and Justin Spivey; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Brent, Jayden and Juliana.
Due to the restrictions and precautions associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is being held.
Memorial contributions may be made either to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785-2353 or to the family to help with medical and other related expenses, in care of Kristy Melton, 653 Gliden Road, Belvidere, NC 27919.
