It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Ray Welborn of Ronda, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Welborn and Alma Mae Blevins Welborn; and his siblings, Betty Ann Johnson, Nancy Lee Gray, Mildred King and Billy Welborn.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Wells Welborn; his children, Calvin Ray Welborn (Poppi) of North Wilkesboro, Jacob Dwayne Welborn (Michelle) of Kernersville and Teresa Delaine Welborn Haynes of King; his sister Alma Jean Wells of Ronda; his grandchildren, Rodney Lyn Haynes, Jr., Bryson Hyler Welborn, Brenyn Paul Welborn and Kaylie Shea Welborn; and his great grandchild Ahmilia Rose Haynes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.
