He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Combs and Mary Shore Combs; his wife Sylvia Lucille Combs; and his sons, Dale Combs and Danny Combs.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Combs, Michael Combs, Darrell Combs (Carolyn), Brenda Bauguess (Steven), Janice Combs and Glenda Narez (Willie). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to Ronda Church of God, 357 Old Traphill Rd., Ronda, NC 28670.
