Childress; his children, Andy Childress and Jessie Parker (Zach); his siblings, Brady Childress (Margie), Annie Childress, Jane Benfield, Katherine Holloway and Charley Childress; his sister-in-law Annie Childress; his grandchildren, Dani Parker and Reese Parker; his parents-in-law, Carol and Walter Barker; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Barker (Carol), Janice Somers (Barry) and Sandy Thompson (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
