She was predeceased by: her parents, Foley M. Norman and Jessie Alexander Norman; her husband Ralph B. Tharpe, Sr.; and her siblings, Kedron F. Norman, Fred C. Norman and Una N. Key.
She is survived by: her sons, Ralph B. Tharpe, Jr. (Janet) of Ronda, Fred Norman Tharpe (Deb), Peter Tharpe (Anita) of Roaring River and Forrest Tharpe (Lorelei) of Willis, TX; and her sister Glenda N. Strole of Laurinburg. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
