He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Thomas Blackburn and Myrtle Johnson Blackburn; his sister Dovie Brewer; and his half-sister Pauline Childress. He is survived by: his wife Betty H. Blackburn; his son Chadley Glenn Blackburn (Jill) of Mandeville, LA; his siblings, James Blackburn (Wilkesboro) and Mary Ledford (Sam) of Boomer; and his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Blackburn, Roman Gatica and Charmie Blackburn.
