Florence Layell Combs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Layell Combs of Ronda, North Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foley Layell and Vallie Adams Layell; her husband Brison Combs; her son Dennis Combs (Pat); and her siblings, John Layell, Hebron Layell, Kelly Layell and Mozelle Peek.
She is survived by: her son Doug Combs (Mary Jane) of Ronda; and her sisters, Ruth Combs of Georgia and Carol Watts of Whiteville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International or Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child C/O Sparta Church of God.
